8 courses numbered ITAL 1400 or above,
at least 5 of which must be taught in Italian, including:
ITAL 1400 or equivalent through placement test
ITAL 1500 or ITAL 1510;
ITAL 4162 or ITAL 4172;
ITAL 1310 (with the Italian discussion section);
4 additional Italian electives
(or 5 if placement test waives ITAL 1400)
2 elective courses in other langs and lits, history of art, history, linguistics, philosophy or media, with DUS approval
Maximum of 3 Italian courses taught in English
