13 or 14 prerequisite courses (10 credits)
Intro Biology sequence (BIOL 1010, BIOL 1020, BIOL 1030, and BIOL 1040)
2 term lecture sequence in General Chemistry (CHEM 1610, CHEM 1650 or CHEM 1630, CHEM 1670) with labs (CHEM 1340L, CHEM 1360L)
1 term mathematics or 1 term of statistics & data science MATH 1150 or MATH 1160 or MATH 1200 or S&DS 1000–S&DS 1060 or S&DS 2300
4 additional credits chosen from the list in the Overview No more than two term lecture courses from a single department

Students must select one of the two concentrations below
Biodiversity and the Environment concentration EEB 2220 and EEB 2225 and 1 course from EEB 2246–EEB 2272 with lab or EEB 3326 and EEB 3327L
Organismal Biology concentration EEB 2290 and EEB 2291L and EEB 2295 or BENG 3200 and MCDB 3000 or MB&B 3000
Two electives for 2 credits, at least one elective must be a lecture or a seminar
